The power of positive thought and feeling
When it comes to creating our own realities some of us realize what true power we really have while others may be caught up with what is presently happening and focus on the lack, the loss, the fear, the hopelessness of it all. We have all heard of and possibly used affirmations, with varying levels of disbelief or optimism. I have used them however in a very rote fashion, with no feeling or passion hoping that the words them selves will become real, unfortunately all that has really amounted to has been wishful thinking. However I have also been able to manifest things in my life by focus intent and passion in remarkably speedy time frames, so often that my family no longer doubt me when I announce I am going to achieve something.
What is it that differentiates the person hoping and dreaming for a certain outcome and the one who actually achieves it? Is it just hard work? Or is there a little more to it than that? Years ago I would of said set your goals and work towards them and eventually they will become real, however more recently I believe there can be a little more magic and a bit less perspiration. What all good manifestors know and work with is a law of attraction – like attracts like, positive thought and deeds attract positive experiences. However there is an extra ingredient we can add that makes life far more fun and much more satisfying - positive feeling.
What happens when we think a thought is that a certain vibration is generated, repeated thoughts create a stronger vibration and thoughts charged with a feeling have an even stronger force. So now we can say our affirmation and associate a positive feeling with it, such as how we are feeling now it has come true, or the happiest day in our lives. These positive feeling super charge the affirmation or request to the universe and that great attractive force will more quickly and effectively bring to you what you ask for.
The challenge in this is that many of us are often experiencing negative feelings which means we are not really aligned with what we are wanting in our life and may find it a difficult or ridiculous notion to feel happy, grateful or joyous for no apparent reason. But what we are thinking and feeling we are actually bringing into being. So what do we really have to loose if we can begin now to feel healthy, wealthy, loved etc even before it becomes real, we already win. If we stay in the positive feeling place and follow our bliss, in no time that will become our reality.
Another excellent way to remain in a positive emotional state is to be grateful for what you do have, no matter how small, that attitude will attract more of what you will be grateful for. When faced with the challenge of ill health be grateful for your healing as if it has already occurred, join a laughter club, watch funny movies, reduce your stress and increase the positive feelings in your life and truly miracles can happen. It is important to make these positive changes a habit, practice them every day, a random positive thought will not be as useful as a daily routine of gratitude and positive feelings. What you can achieve is truly unlimited.
